Speaker's Biography: Sam McCachern

Sam serves as the Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Thomas & Hutton, a professional engineering and consulting firm with offices located in Savannah and Brunswick, Georgia; Charleston and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Wilmington, North Carolina.

Born and raised in Winston Salem, NC, Sam graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. In the summer of 1985, shortly after graduating, Sam began his engineering career with Thomas & Hutton and has been at the firm ever since. His 26 years of experience includes serving as Principal and Project Manager for a number of projects primarily located in Georgia and South Carolina. Haig Point and Melrose on Daufuski Island, Sun City Hilton Head, Union Camp, Jasper County Land Planning, and Palmetto Bluff are just a few of the projects Sam has been involved with during his tenure.
