Recreational Activities

Located in coastal Georgia, the Georgia Tech Savannah campus provides formal and informal opportunities for students interested in recreation and the great outdoors. Only 35 miles from Tybee Island, students can enjoy a little afternoon surfing, a weekend of kayaking, or just lounging on the beach. Weekends in Forsyth Park in downtown Savannah offer multiple opportunities for students interested in organized sports such as ultimate frisbee, rugby, soccer and more.

Students can also get in a workout at the GTS fitness center between classes or take a break from studying for soccer practice. Students who enjoy more leisurely activities can shoot a game of pool in the Hive or hang out in the TV lounge.
