The Student Affairs Office at Georgia Tech Savannah collaborates with numerous student and community organizations to provide events that promote personal and professional development.
- BuzzBreak is a weekly campus-wide coffee break for students, faculty and staff where everyone comes together to talk with friends and colleagues, shoot a game of pool or enjoy a free afternoon snack.
- The Wreck Room is the GTS fitness center and offers treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines, a weight machine and individual shower rooms for working out between classes. Open 24/7 with Buzzcard access.
- The Hive student lounge attracts students between classes with recreational diversions such a large flatscreen television, a pool table, ping pong, foosball and more
- Virtual tailgates in Savannah to cheer on the Yellow Jackets as well as fieldtrips to Atlanta for football games
- Savannah-specific traditions such as the GTS float in Savannah’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade which attracts 1,000,000 spectators in the second largest St. Patrick's Day celebration in the world!
