In 2010, TEDx held its first TEDxCreativeCoast Conference in Savannah with dynamic keynote speakers such as Dr. David Frost, GT Vice Provost and Director of Georgia Tech-Savannah.

Free Counseling Services

Georgia Tech Savannah has an arrangement with Savannah Psychiatry for students who would like to receive counseling or psychiatric services. These services are confidential and free to students who pay the GTS student fees. Students are eligible for 15 sessions per academic year.

Students need only request the service to receive it; however, they must be referred to Savannah Psychiatry by the Director of Outreach and Student Affairs. No other approval process is required. The service is confidential; family members and faculty members/advisors will not be informed of a student's decision to seek counseling.

The individual counseling will take place at Savannah Psychiatry located at 635 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah GA 31405-5970. The office is located near the intersection of Waters and Stephenson Avenues. Students needing transportation to their appointment may receive additional assistance from Outreach and Student Affairs.
