In 2010, Georgia Tech Savannah first sponsored a float in Savannah's St. Patrick's Day Parade, which attracts more than 400,000 spectators each year. The float quickly became a campus tradition.

Benefits

Georgia Tech offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet the diverse needs of our faculty and staff. Our benefits are competitive and are an important component of the total compensation package. Georgia Tech offers a robust choice of health and welfare plans including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, disability and life insurance plans.

All Regular Faculty and Staff are required to participate in either the Teachers Retirement System (TRS) or the Optional Retirement Plan (ORP). In addition, we provide supplemental retirement plans to allow for additional savings opportunities.

Georgia Tech offers a rich holiday, sick and vacation pay program as well as other benefits to complete your benefits package.

Faculty and Staff have the opportunity to review their benefits each fall during the Annual Open Enrollment period. During this time, you can change your benefits for the following calendar year. Changes during the year are only allowed if you have a change in family status such as marriage, divorce or birth of a child.
