Did You Know?

In 1999, Georgia Tech began offering local degree programs to engineering students in southeast Georgia, and in 2003 it opened its current regional campus in Savannah.

BuzzCard

BuzzCards are identification cards for Georgia Tech.  All students, faculty, and staff are required to have a BuzzCard for identification purposes.  At Georgia Tech Savannah, BuzzCards are also used for door access.

You can obtain your BuzzCard on the Savannah Campus through the BuzzCard office in PARB 122.  You will need your gtID# and a picture ID to have your BuzzCard made.  Initial BuzzCards are printed free of charge for faculty, staff, tech temps, and students.  The fee for printing replacement cards (for lost or stolen cards) is $30, damaged cards will be replaced for free.  Initial cards for guests, contractors, ATDC affiliates, and visiting faculty are also $30.  If you have questions regarding your BuzzCard at GTS, please see form.

View the BuzzCard Info Sheet  for detailed information about BuzzCards and instructions for obtaining one on the GTS Campus.

View the Adding Funds Sheet for instructions on how to put funds on your BuzzCards (to use as a debit card).

You may also visit the Georgia Tech Atlanta Campus BuzzCard Center’s website for more information regarding BuzzCards at:  http://www.buzzcard.gatech.edu/

BuzzCafe

BuzzCafé is temporarily closed.

This temporary closure reflects a request from our current vendor to immediately end her operating agreement and contract. While we recognized the short term challenge that this would cause our students, staff and faculty, we approved her request.

Georgia Tech Professional Education is moving quickly to identify an alternative operator for the BuzzCafé. We hope to have a solution in place during the Summer semester or by the start of the Fall semester at the latest.

We thank you for your patience during this period of transition for all of us.

Parking Permits

To purchase a parking permit, students, staff and tenants are asked to see Lynn Sexton in PARB 138.
