CREATE Application Info

CREATE will offer up to 8 full-time summer research positions to qualified and highly motivated undergraduate students in the Engineering Alliance program and the Georgia Tech Regional Engineering Program. CREATE applicants are expected to be mature and possess the ability to show creativity and initiative on the job. The specific skill levels of CREATE participants vary and it is expected that participants will have a great deal to learn while working in their roles. We encourage all students with a will to learn and be creative to apply.

CREATE will begin reviewing applications and making offers in mid-April.

Three Part Application:

Part 1 - Online Application Form

Applicants should complete the online application form by April 22, 2011.

Part 2 - Unofficial Transcript

For the sake of convenience, CREATE will accept unofficial transcripts, but reserves the right to request official copies. Some students may be able to print their academic records from an online interface. The unofficial transcripts can be sent by fax or e-mail. To send records electronically:

Print the records to pdf (if you have Adobe Acrobat)
Or copy the records as image files into Microsoft Word
- Press "print screen" button while looking at the web records
- "Paste" the image into Word
Or save the records as image files (gif or jpg) if your browser or system will allow it
Do not send html files, nor text from web interfaces that have been copied/pasted into Word.
Attach the file to an e-mail and send it to jessica.york@gtsav.gatech.edu

Part 3 - 2 Recommendations

Option 1: Print two recommendation forms and submit them to your recommenders with addressed and stamped envelopes.
Option 2: E-mail the forms to your recommenders for them to complete and send by e-mail.
Please Note: While we do request recommenders' e-mail addresses in the application form, it is each applicant's responsibility to request the recommendations and to follow up with recommenders.
