Location

Creative Technology Saturdays are held at the Georgia Tech Savannah campus, which is off of Jimmy Deloach, one exit North of the airport off of I-95. The campus consists of a circle drive and one cross street. The sessions are held in the second building on the circle drive, which is the Program Administration and Resource Building.

What to Bring

Each participant should bring:

A bag lunch (required) and a bottle of water (optional). Water fountains are also available down the hall.
A memory stick/thumb drive (optional, but strongly encouraged). This allows students to save their projects, which they can share with parents, continue to work on at home, and save for use in future sessions.

Schedule

9:30-10:00	Parents/guardians sign students in with program instructors, and sign parent request to participate forms (pre-completed forms are provided, and blank versions are available below)
10:00	Session begins
12:00	Lunch in the HIVE student lounge
4:00	Session ends
4:00-4:30	Parents/guardians sign students out. Students can only be picked up by adults whose names are provided in advance by a parent/guardian. Students will not be allowed to wait outside

Additional notes:

Parents are welcome to participate. We ask that parents inform us in advance, so that we can provide adequate working space.
Parents and guardians should plan to sign the Parent Request to Participate form described below at sign-in. Pre-completed forms will be provided. If someone without signing authority will be signing a student in, please let our office know. We will e-mail a completed form to you, which you can sign and send in with your student. Alternatively, parents and guardians can download the form (below) and complete it by hand.

Parent Request to Participate Form

All guests attending Georgia Tech events must complete Parent Request to Participate forms. This form combines a number of releases required by Georgia Tech into one form to simplify the paperwork process. For convenience, we will take the information submitted in the online registration, pre-fill student forms, and we will have the packets ready for parent/guardian signatures on the Saturday of each session. (This means parents will not have to fill in a hard copy form, but just sign off on forms we have completed for them.) Below is a PDFversion of the release form, for parents to review in advance.
