Application Instructions

The application for the Savannah Engineering Academy consists of two parts: An online form completed by student applicants and an online teacher recommendation form.  Both forms are to be submitted electronically via this website and may be subject to verification.

Before you begin, it is recommended that you have the following information handy:

• Guidance counselor info (Name, phone, E-mail)
• Name and e-mail address for a math, science or engineering teacher from whom you would like a recommendation
• Math, science, and technology/engineering courses completed, being taken, and to be taken and their respective grades (if applicable)
• Combined math/science GPA (you will need to calculate this yourself)

In addition, there will be the following 3 long answer questions (max 500 words each):

• Could you describe the college majors or area(s) of study you are considering?
• What interested you in the area(s) of study described above?
• Could you list the colleges or describe the types of colleges to which you plan to apply?
